On May 12th, in the ISVOUGA Auditorium, students of the Degree in Solicitors, but also professionals from the legal profession, were present to attend the usual employability seminar: ๐ข ๐ฆ๐ฎ ๐๐ฐ๐ญ๐ช๐ค๐ช๐ต๐ข๐ฅ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ช๐ข. ๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ข?
A panel of 6 speakers, moderated by the Coordinator and Lecturer of the Degree, Letรญcia Marques Costa, captivated the audience at the end of the day with the account of their experiences and the transmission of their knowledge.
The OSAE – Order of Solicitors and Execution Agents was present through its Vice-President and Director of the Botto Machado Training Institute, Francisco Serra Loureiro, who addressed the new rules regarding access to the professional order and training. Then, from the perspective of a Solicitor, Andreia Tavares, and from the perspective of an Execution Agent, Miguel Dias Silva, they reported their experiences as professionals.
The new challenges facing Graduates in Solicitors, such as BUPi and business ๐ค๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ญ๐ช๐ข๐ฏ๐ค๐ฆ, were addressed by Blandina Soares, Record Keeper and Permanent Member of the IRN Advisory Board, and by Teresa Pinho, ๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ข๐ญ& ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ญ๐ช๐ข๐ฏ๐ค๐ฆ ๐๐ง๐ง๐ช๐ค๐ฆ๐ณ, respectively. Closing the panel of speakers, Carla Reis, ISVOUGA Graduate and Solicitor, reported her experience in entering active life after completing her Degree.
The event highlights the attention that ISVOUGA gives to its students, in general, and to finalists, in particular, at this point at the end of the academic year.
